ISQM Statement

BDO Kuwait has designed, implemented, and operated a system of quality management that provides the firm with reasonable assurance that:

  • The firm and its personnel fulfill their responsibilities in accordance with professional standards and applicable regulatory and legal requirements, and conduct engagements in accordance with such standards and requirements, and
  • The Engagement reports and any other deliverables issued by the firm are appropriate in the circumstances.
  • BDO Kuwait Leadership recognizes that the quality management is not a separate function, but it is inherent part of providing services and is integrated with the firm’s strategy, operational activities and business process.
  • A system of quality management includes policies and procedures which cover at least the following elements:
  • Governance & Leadership.
  • Acceptance & Continuous of client relationships and specific engagements.
  • Relevant Ethical Requirements.
  • Engagement Performance.
  • Resources.
  • Information and Communication.
  • Monitoring and Remediation.

 

BDO Kuwait system of quality management includes documented policies and procedures necessary to implement and monitor compliance with BDO Global ISQM, and these polices and procedures are communicated to all of the office personnel.
